I was born in Baltimore, MD, on October 12th, 1967. I am the progenitor of the Self Realization Mantra, a divine mantra of awakening that was revealed to me over 7 1/2 years. I led a fairly unremarkable life until 2008, when I encountered a sacred geometry shape called the tesseract.
My friend Doug asked me to help find something to represent “thinking outside the box.”
A few hours later, I ran across the tesseract and fell in love.
I asked Harry to send me photos of the front and back of his tesseract pendant, and he was happy to do so. I hired a jewelry company to make a 3D-printed tesseract that I could wear.
After she activated me, I became an artist at age 42. I made art until 2021, when the urge to make art left as suddenly as it had arrived.
In 2018, my life took an unexpected turn.
Before the divine revelation of the Self Realization Mantra, I was in deep meditation, focusing on the question “Who am I?” which was given to me by Ananta, a self realized being who lives in Green Valley, Arizona.
I met Ananta shortly after moving to Tucson in April of 2016.

During one of Ananta’s Satsangs (a spiritual discourse involving a short presentation or speech followed by Q&A), I shared that I was having difficulty meditating and asked Ananta to recommend a mantra or a focus for my meditation. Ananta suggested that I contemplate the nature of my true self and focus on who I really am during meditation. “Who are you?” he asked.
I followed this suggestion by using the question “Who am I?” as a mantra, saying it over and over during a 4 1/2 hour drive from Tucson to Flagstaff, Arizona, on February 26th, 2018.
After arriving in Flagstaff at 5 AM, I sat in my car at a gas station with a cup of coffee in my hand. I said aloud: “Okay, God, my higher self, angels, guides, beings of light, and ascended masters assisting me in my ascension process – I just asked a profound spiritual question four or five thousand times. If there is an answer to my inquiry, I am open to hearing it.”
I sat in silence and continued drinking my coffee.
Five minutes later, I felt a warm, tingly energy come in through the top of my head, and I blurted out the first two lines of the Self Realization Mantra: “I Am Thee Iself. I Am Thee Allself.” It was in that moment that I heard the words “Iself” and “Allself” for the very first time.
I had invoked all the spirit I could think of, and spirit gave me an answer.
I chanted these first 2 lines for 6 hours and experienced a combined Iself/Allself awakening at 2 PM that very same day.
460 days later, on Friday, May 31st, 2019, at 9 PM, I was chanting the first 2 lines of the Self Realization Mantra, and then I stopped and said, “God, is that all there is for me to realize, that I am an individual self and I’m everyone and everything?” The 3rd and 4th lines of the mantra, “I Am Thee Godself. I Am Thee Noself,” were then revealed to me. After 9 days of chanting the 4-line Self Realization Mantra for about 3 hours a day, I experienced my Godself and Noself awakenings on Sunday, June 9th, 2019, at 4 PM.
More than 6 years later, on Friday, August 8th, 2025, I was chanting the word “Amness,” a word that I first encountered in a 2020 YouTube video, at 3 AM when I suddenly and unexpectedly experienced my Amness awakening. This was my final and most profound awakening. My perspective shifted from first person to a detached third-person perspective instantly. It was as if I had gone from being a character on the movie screen to sitting in the theater, but now I was also the theater, the projector, the light, the film, the screen, and the characters on the screen.
Three days later, on Monday, August 11th, 2025, at 10 PM, the final line of the Self Realization Mantra was revealed – “I Am Thee Amness.” The mantra was now complete.
